To me, this time of year is about family. In our crazy busy, over-scheduled lives, it can be a real challenge finding quality time to share with the ones we care about most. I’m looking forward to some simple, quiet time with my wife and kids over the holidays – and hope you’ll be able to enjoy this special time of year with yours, as well.

As we wrap up 2018, I’m incredibly grateful for another special family – our UMass Memorial one. I want to thank each of you for the thoughtful and compassionate care you give to our patients each day, and for the great humanity, heart and soul you bring to your work. Together, our extended family of caregivers will proudly support and ensure the good health of the Central Massachusetts community for many generations to come.

I wish you and yours a warm and wonderful holiday season – and a happy and healthy new year. Thank you, as always, for treating our patients and each other with the greatest care, respect and goodwill.
